Because it is "better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self." - Cyril Connolly
Nicely crafted. Somewhat sad, I would suppose, but real, too.
Ouchie! Love it :)
That says it all...many people can't handle the heaviness of those three words!
i've always said, people fear the word love as much as they do cancer...
Rebecca, thanks for the kind words about my 3WW post...I wanted to let you know that the picture is not photoshopped, and I've now added a link to the real life story about the monkey and the pigeon. It's incredibly heartwarming to read! Thanks again~~ :~)
Oh, ow. It may be short, but sweet? Maybe bitterly, but more like poignant à la total proficiency : )
That is intense...
Sparse and painful? Deadly combination. You rock! Love the new blog-skin.
I presume that he was unaware of the term Friends With Benefits. Apparently this younger generation has been traumatized by the prevelance of divorce and innundated with a new model of managing relationships.I would like to mention that there is a global conference being held in my city on Polar Bears..you expressed some concern at my seemingly cavalier attitude towards them...but I love Polar Bears and they are quickly replacing the Panda as the symbol of ecological disaster.I would add that I love them as long as they don't eat me.
halloo donn!!!Listen, regarding the polar bears, I am not concerned at all. I was just playing with you. I love animals, that's no secret, but some can be quite dangerous. But, dangerous or not, I still feel for them because of the global warming but that doesn't mean I am one of those people who you have to tiptoe around- it's all good, donn! All good. :)
no strings attached.... no commitment... no, don't think so... like sharing spit... tho sometimes those 3 words are used like mayo on a BLT whitebread sandwich
Most lovely and short poem I've ever read.Thank you,Freya, UKhttp://idioms.in/
